A Restaurant Lost Money on an Order. We Fixed That.
Built by Excalibur Interactive Solutions, a web development company out of New Jersey.
A restaurant owed DoorDash money on an order.
One of our first restaurant clients was bleeding from third-party delivery apps. 30% commissions, marketing fees, customer discounts they never agreed to. Then an order came in at negative $0.85. They didn't make money on that order. They lost it.
So we built them something better.
We're engineers. We saw a problem and we solved it. We built a platform that let the restaurant offer delivery at actual driver cost. No commissions, no markups. It worked. Since then, Talos has grown from direct ordering into customer accounts, loyalty, review requests, marketing automation, order management, and custom restaurant workflows.
The right partner changed everything.
We met AMP Payment Systems at a Small Business Expo. Over the next year, they brought us on as a partner. That partnership gave us the infrastructure to build Talos without passing per-order platform fees onto restaurants. That's when it all came together.
What We Actually Care About
Restaurants live or die on regulars. But marketplaces charge the same 30% acquisition fee whether it's a brand new customer or someone who's been ordering every Tuesday for three years. We give restaurants a direct channel to keep more profit and the retention tools to bring those customers back.
Owned Customer Growth
Your customers are yours. Their data, order history, preferences, loyalty, reviews, and campaign activity should help your restaurant grow, not someone else's marketplace.
Simplicity
If you can take an order over the phone, you can run Talos. No technical skills needed. We handle the setup so you can focus on your food.
Flexibility
Every restaurant is different. We build custom modules when you need them. One of our clients delivers school lunches, so we built a parent pre-order system specifically for them. That's how we work.
