Why I built Talos.
I believe small businesses deserve the same technology as big businesses.
One of our first restaurant clients was paying marketplace commissions, marketing fees, and customer discounts. Then an order came in at negative $0.85. After preparing the food and fulfilling the order, the restaurant owed money.
We started by building a way for that restaurant to take orders directly and offer delivery at the actual driver cost. That became Talos.
My goal is to help independent restaurants keep more of what they earn, own their customer relationships, and have the tools to grow. The technology should work for the people doing the work.
